[Striking/Durability]

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to The Glossary. My name is Secretary. The being created by the God of Stories to guide you through Verses and aid you in your understanding of the ways in which this verse and the characters within function. This section is dedicated to the Scaling System, and I hope this will help you to comprehend things in the easiest way possible. Happy reading!

Striking/Durability —

Lvl. 1 - 5

This section of the Scaling System is dedicated to the striking and damage output of characters. These levels also apply to a character’s durability as the descriptions for the strikes they can deliver can be reflected in the strikes and damage they can take.

  1. Human – Wall Level

Any attack/power that can take down an average human or create/destroy a standing brick/steel wall or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so.

2. Small – Large Building Level

Any attack/power that can create/destroy a small building (think something the size of a McDonald’s) up to something the size of a large building (skyscrapers) or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so.

3. City Block – Large Town Level

Any attack/power that can create/destroy a city block (think something like a city block in New York city) up to something the size of a large town (something the size of Pallet Town in the Pokémon anime) or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so.

4. Small City – Large Mountain Level

Any attack/power that can create/destroy a small city (Cerulean City in Pokémon) up to something the size of a large mountain (Mount Kilimanjaro) or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so.

5. Island – Multi-Continental Level

Any attack/power that can create/destroy an island (Cuba) up to something the size of multiple continents (the combined area of the North and South America) or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so.

Lvl. 6 - 10

The levels in this section all assume that the attack/ability in question can overcome the gravitational constant of the structure the attack/ability should be capable of affecting or exacerbating the energy required to do so. The gravitational constant being the body’s ability to reform after the impact of the attack.

6. Moon

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of Earth’s Moon while overcoming its gravitational constant. The gravitational constant being the body’s ability to reform after the impact of the attack.

7. Small Planet – Planet

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of a small planet (Mercury) or an average-sized planet (Earth) while overcoming its gravitational constant or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so.

8. Large Planet

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of large planet (Jupiter) or larger while overcoming its gravitational constant or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so.

9. Dwarf – Small Star

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of a dwarf star (Alpha Centauri) up to a small star (VB10) while overcoming its gravitational constant or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so.

10. Star – Large Star

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of a star (the sun in your universe, dear reader) up to a large star (Rigel) while overcoming its gravitational constant or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so.

Note —

Lvl. 11 - 15

Starting in this section, the attack/power being used by the character in most cases is assumed to be omni-directional and proceeding outward from the character in a spherical pattern. That is until reaching Lvl. 15 Universal as before then, each level simply requires being able to destroy or affect the physical object(s) described by the level. At Lvl. 15, concepts and the like start to become involved.

Note —

At this stage, the character in question begins to need to affect levels of infinity or sets as defined by Set Theory. To make this as easy to understand as possible here is an example. If you have the infinite set of all red cars, and I have the infinite set of all cars in general, we both have an infinite set, but the level of my set is higher than your set because it includes all of your set while your set cannot include mine.

11. Solar System

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of a solar system (Ex: Everything from the sun to Pluto) or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so.

12. Multi-Solar System

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of at least 2 solar systems or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so. However, the distance between the solar systems needs to be accounted for as well. For example, the distance between your sun and the next closest sun, Alpha Centauri. Everything in each of their solar systems would need to be destroyed as well as everything in between them at the same time.

13. Galaxy

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of a galaxy or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so. It is worth bearing in mind that dissociation (the act of splitting a galaxy in this case) does not count in this instance. To be galaxy level, a galaxy must be destroyed or the equivalent energy to do so must be used.

14. Multi-Galaxy

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of at least 2 galaxies or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so. However, the distance between the galaxies must be accounted for in the same way it was calculated for Lvl. 12.

15. Universal – Universal+

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of a universe or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so. This would equate to having the energy to create/destroy at least all physical matter within a universe and range as high as creating/destroying a space-time continuum and all concepts within it or a pocket dimension of equivalent size.

Lvl. 16 - 20

16. Multiversal – Multiversal+

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of a multiverse or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so. This would equate to having the energy to create/destroy at least 2 or up to a countably infinite number of space-time continuums and all the concepts within them.

17. Complex Multiversal

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of at least 2, or up to 7, levels of infinity higher than a baseline multiverse or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so.

18. Hyperversal – High Hyperversal

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of at least 8, or up to a countably infinite number of levels of infinity higher than a baseline multiverse, or exacerbate the energy necessary to do so.

19. Outerversal – High Outerversal

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy something the size of at least 2, or up to a countably infinite number of levels of infinity higher than the dimensions containing an infinite number of multiverses. So, a baseline of infinite multiverses would need to exist, then the attack/ability would need to exceed the dimension in which these infinite multiverses would exist.

20. Extraversal

Any attack/ability that can create/destroy an infinite number of infinite dimensions each of which contains an infinite number of multiverses. Attacks/abilities and the characters within this level simply view the entirety of the levels below them as tedious. It would be annoying for them to destroy the lower levels. Not because it was tough, but simply because the effort to do so would be beneath them. They can nearly assume the role of the author of these dimensions once this level is achieved.
